Engendering Plan for Human Development

1. Setting up of Gender Resource Centre (GRC)-work as a nodal agency

2. Identification of Gender components  of schemes of related Departments through interaction with Gender Resource Centre (GRC);

3. Identification of Gender components PRI/ULB wise (based on activity mapping) through interaction with GRC;

4. Opening of heads of accounts by such department/bodies for Gender related schemes

5. Budget provisioning by such departments/local bodies.

6. Mapping of sector specific Gender budget provisioning & its dissemination to all programme partners

7. Monitoring of Gender plan implementation at all levels

8.  Outcome assessment of Gender plan of departments/DPCs & PRI & ULB and also by GRC;

9. Social audit and impact of Gender Plan by identified Women Activists Groups, Women research bodies, Women NGOs.

10. Formats to develop for collection of Gender disaggregated data,

11. Capacity building for quality performance on Gender planning at all levels

12. Advocacy  for Gender mainstreaming  at districts

13. publication of a compendium of all rules related to women and all available schemes(including those central sector/national institute sponsored schemes

2. TNA for concerned departments/ districts

3. TOT for social sector line departments / districts on Human Development.

4. Organising training on HD at decentralized level 

5.Gram++ GIS application for new   &  existing NRDMS centres


1.  HD approach further refined in the Annual Plan 2008-09 and reflected in up scaled budget provisioning during 2008-09          2.ATI’s training module further fine tuned with reference to need of State Planners and others.

3. One functionary in each of the decentralized local bodies turned out to be HD promotion agent
